Presentation Design Training

TLC Creative Services, Inc. provides professional, in depth PowerPoint instruction that brings the PowerPoint expertise of real designers. Seminar instructors are PowerPoint experts, knowledgeable, personable and professional, lead by Troy Chollar a Microsoft PowerPoint MVP and 15 year veteran of advanced PowerPoint design.

We create truly informative learning programs that are more than scripted lectures. Each program is an interactive session that covers the how-to’s, design principles, tips & tricks and lots of question-and-answer time. Each program is based on real world PowerPoint use and covers the topics that are actually needed and used by today’s presenters.

Our preferred learning environment is hands on with each attendee working on the slides as skills are presented. Throughout interaction and discussion is highly encouraged to assure everyone gets the most from their time. Our goal is to use real-world examples for real presentation solutions.

TLC Creative Services, Inc. offers hands-on programs for groups under 24 and lecture style format for larger groups over 24.

1. Introduction to PowerPoint and Presentation Technologies

This informative seminar focuses on becoming comfortable with PowerPoint – editing existing slides, adding new slides and features available and the key differences in the many versions of the PowerPoint. Because presenters need to know more than just PowerPoint skills, this seminar overviews what every presenter needs to know about presentation technologies: 6 settings to check before each presentation, how and who controls the presentation computer, how a computer works with a projector, how to use Presenter View and many other vital details that effect today’s presenter.

2. Intermediate PowerPoint Skills and Optimizing Your Computer and Application Settings

The Intermediate program focuses on formatting how-to’s, integrating slides from other presentations, effectively using slide layouts, how Master slides really work and how to use your corporate template. PLUS, we go beyond the basic ‘how-to’ skills and cover how PowerPoint works with your computer, the 10 customizations to work faster and other super useful design oriented information.

3. Advanced PowerPoint Skills and More Presentation Technologies

For the presenter that likes to create their own slides, integrate multimedia audio and video files, and add some “wow” with animations – this seminar gives the the tools and knowledge to do it all! Learn how to go beyond PowerPoints “standard” formatting in a highly-interactive environment with one of TLC Creative Services PowerPoint design experts! Lots of example files, tutorials, and open Q-&-A. We also overview a number of the PowerPoint add-in applications, equipment and ‘gadgets’ that the professionals use.

4. Moving to PowerPoint 2013 (or 2010, or 2007)

Microsoft dramatically increased the power & usability of PowerPoint with the release of PowerPoint 2007 and continues adding powerful new features in PowerPoint 2010. This program covers the ribbon interface, accessing and using Master Slides, setting up the QAT, how to use the new multimedia tools, and plenty of tips-adn-tricks. And if you are moving from PPT 2003 we will show you how to find everything that now seems to be missing (it’s not missing, trust us).
